Bill Misko began his financial career after 25 years as a successful entrepreneur in central Nebraska. A native of Ord, Bill owned and managed many small businesses in Ord, Kearney and Grand Island, some of which he still owns. In 2003, Bill relocated to Lincoln to join his friend Tod Masin, a financial advisor with a thriving business, to form MasinMisko.
Scope of Work
Together, Bill and Tod redefined the business using a comprehensive approach to their client’s financial needs. Bill’s understanding of the unique needs and goals of business owners add value to the service MasinMisko provides their many self-employed clients. For Bill, the best thing about being a financial advisor is helping people improve their lives. He says “I see how financial health and security supports and improves other aspects of people’s lives. I find purpose and fulfillment in that.”
Personal
Bill enjoys outdoor sports, family activities, Husker athletics, Church and community involvement. He and his wife Nancy have two children, son Justin and daughter Katie. They both live in Lincoln with their families which allows Bill and Nancy to spend valued time with their seven grandchildren; Kix, Cacen, Eizlee, Cru, Baron, Mack and Grae.
